形容词可以修饰名词（作定语）,例如：

　　abeautifulbird

　　aniceday

　　agreencoat

　　anewcar

　　这里面的beautiful,nice,green,new都是形容词,作的都是定语.

　　形容词不可以修饰形容词.

　　但程度副词可以修饰形容词或副词.例如：

　　It'sverycoldtoday.

　　Thisproblemisextremelydifficulttoproblem.

　　Yourworkisquiteperfect.

　　MrLidoeshisworkrathercarefully.

　　damedquickly中的damed应该是一个动词.不过,详细看一下,则不是dammed.
