InHebrews8:10-11a,Godinstructsus:

　　ForthisisthecovenantthatIwillmakewiththehouseofIsraelafterthosedays,saiththeLord;Iwillputmylawsintotheirmind,andwritethemintheirhearts:andIwillbetothemaGod,andtheyshallbetomeapeople:Andtheyshallnotteacheverymanhisneighbour,andeverymanhisbrother,saying,KnowtheLord:forallshallknowme,fromtheleasttothegreatest.

　　TheseversesareespeciallyfocusingonGod’ssalvationplan.Throughoutthechurchage,thedominantteachingofmostBiblicalchurcheswastotellthebrothersandsistersofthecongregationshowtheymightbesuretheyaresavedorhowtheymightbecomesaved.Acarefulanalysisoftheteachingsofthesedenominationsinvariablyshowsthattheyincludetherequirementthatsomecontributionbemadebytheindividualseekingsalvation.Thesecontributionscouldincludeactionssuchaswaterbaptism,publicprofessionoffaith,theactofacceptingChrist,thepartakingoftheEucharistorcommuniontable,orprayingacertainkindofprayer.Invirtuallyeverycase,therewasadefiniteviolationofthelawofGod,whichclearlystipulatesthatalltheworkofsavingapersonwasdonebyChrist,longbeforethatpersonwasborn.

　　InHebrews8:10-11,quotedabove,GodemphasizesthatoncethefullrevelationoftheBibleoccurs,theteachingonsalvationintheworldwillbealtogetherBiblical.Mankindwillnotbetaughthowtheymightbecomesaved,butratherthatsalvationisentirelytheworkofGod(Ephesians2:8-9).GodwillsavingagreatmultitudewhoactuallymayunderstandverylittleoftheBible.
