如果有比较明确的指定对象,用other系列（分为单数和复数两种情况）；不明确指定对象的时候用else.

　　房间里有两个男孩,一个20岁,另一个22岁.

　　Therearethreeboysintheroom.Oneis20years,anotheris22,andthethirdis24.

　　房间里有三个男孩,一个20岁,一个22岁,另一个24岁.

　　复数情况：others/other+名词复数/theothers:

　　Thereare10boysintheroom.Fiveofthemare20yearsold,andtheothers(或者说theotherboys)are22yearsold.

　　房间里有10个男孩,5个20岁,其余的22岁.

　　Therearemanyboysintheroom.Someofthemaregoodatmaths,andothers(或者说otherboys)aregoodatEnglish.

　　Else的用法：

　　1,和不定代词连用：

　　somethingelse,nothingelse,anythingelse;

　　someoneelse,nooneelse,nobodyelse,anyoneelse:

　　-Doyouwantanythingelse?你还要些其他什么吗?

　　-Nothanks,Iwantnothingelse.我不要什么了.

　　-Isthereanyoneelsethere?那里还有其他人吗?

　　-No,thereisnobodyelse.没有,那里没其他人了.

　　2.用在特殊疑问句里：

　　Whatelsedoyouwanttobuy?

　　你还想买些别的什么吗?
