　　Wedecoratedourhousewithonehundredballoonsandheldupbanners.Istucksomefootstepsonthewaytoourhomeandhandawelcomeboardonthedoor.MomandIpreparedmybirthdaypartyfestbeforetheparty.Momorderedachocolatemouseecakeandsomepizzas.Wealsomadebeefsoap,hashbrowns,Frenchfries,fruitpunchandpopchickens.Thoseareallmyfavoritefood.

　　Sixteenclassmateswereinvitedtomybirthdayparty.Everybodywasveryexcited.Wespentthewholeafternoonplaying.Someofuswatchedcartoons,somereadcomicbooks,someplayedthePSP,andsomeoftherestplayedboardgames.Atdinnertime,weturnedoffallthelights,litupthecandlesandsangthebirthdaysong.Theywavedflagsworecrazyhats.Allfriendswerescreamingandlaughing,makingallkindsofnoise.Afterdinner,wepoppedalltheballoons.Weallhadagreattime!

　　TheSpringFestivalisthemostimportantfestivalfortheChinesepeopleandisadaywhenChinesepeoplegettogetherforsharinghappiness.TheSpringFestivalfallsonthe1stdayofthe1stlunarmonth,oftenonemonthlaterthantheGregoriancalendar.AtSpringFestivalEve,allthefamilymemberseatdinnertogether.Afterthedinner,thewholefamilywillsittogether,chattingandwatchingTV.Inthepast,weoftenjustwatchtheSpringFestivalpartybroadcastedonChinaCentralTelevisionStation(CCTV).Butnowadays,lessandlesspeoplewatchitbutplaycardsormahjong.BurningfireworkswasoncethemosttypicalcustomontheSpringFestival.Peoplethoughtthesplutteringsoundcouldhelpdriveawayevilspirits.However,suchanactivitywascompletelyorpartiallyforbiddeninbigcitiesoncethegovernmenttooksecurity,noiseandpollutionfactorsintoconsideration
