　　请问为什么前一个空填is,后一个空却填do?

　　Bothgroupsaretodiscussthegenerationgap.Neither_____(is/are)surehowwelltheyunderstandeachother.

　　这里的neither指的是groups.但是,neither=不是这个,也不是那个=两个都不是/两个都没有

　　因此,groups=单数了,因此才会是is

　　如：NeitherMarynorSallylikestodrinkmilk

　　Butneither______(does/do)theythinkthatitcannotberesolved.

　　在这里,neither指的是they他们

　　但他们也不认为这不能解决因此do

　　如：Henrydoesnotwanttodothehousework.Neitherdohistwobrothers.

　　groups=单数？既然neither代表的是两者，为什么用is？

　　你也可以用noneofthemis去理解.noneofthemis，them指的是复数，却用了is。这其实和neither是相同的道理
