　　我的家乡是一个江湖纵横交错,水路四通八达的江南鱼米之乡,各个地块都是用桥来连接的.就说灵桥吧,人们都称它为"老江桥",据说是由外国人建造的,已有70多年了,它是家乡的历史见证.

　　在抗日战争期间,日本人想把灵桥炸毁,便派飞机在灵桥上空投放炸弹,可就是炸不到桥,因为那时桥面是木板铺成的.炸弹落到桥面上把木板砸个洞,炸弹就落到桥下面的江水里爆炸,所以桥一直炸不掉,说明当时桥面设计得很合理.解放后,政府为了老百姓在桥上行走的方便,把木板拆下铺上了柏油路面,也方便了车辆的通行.

　　在灵桥的旁边还有一座浮桥,如今叫江厦桥.据说浮桥是用铁链把一条条小船串连起来浮在江面上的,船面上也是铺着木板供行人和自行车通行.江水涨潮时把浮桥支成了拱型,船与船之间有一道道裂缝,通过裂缝看到的是裂缝下面是波涛汹涌,混浊浊的江水,所以人们走在上面总是心惊胆颤,感觉非常害怕.为了方便江东和海曙的车辆通行,政府也把浮桥拆掉,建成了今天的江厦桥.
