　　Discoveredin1899Yinxuisoneoftheoldestandlargestarcheologicalsites(考古遗址)inChinaandisoneofthehistoricalcapitalsofChinaandislistedasaUNESCOWorldHeritageSite.ItliesincentralHenanProvincenearthemoderncityofAnyangandisopentothepublicastheGardenMuseumofYinxu.Itisfamousasthesourceoforaclebonescript(甲骨文)theearliestrecordedformofChinesewriting.Theoraclebonescripthasrecordedalmosteverythingfromdream-explainingtoeventssuchasharvestsbirthofachildtheweatherandthesuccessofmilitarycampaigns.
