Ourstudyshowsthatforwomenwell-beinghastwoaspects.Oneismasterywhichincludesself-respectasenseofcontroloveryourlifeandlowlevelsofanxietyanddepression.Masteryiscloselyrelatedtothe"doing"sideoflifetoworkandactivity.Pleasureistheotheraspectanditismadeupofhappinesssatisfactionandoptimism.Itistiedmorecloselytothe"feeling"sideoflife.Thetwoareindependentofeachother.Awomancouldbehighinmasteryandlowinpleasureandviceversa(反之亦然).Forexampleawomanwhohasagoodjobbutwhosemotherhasjustdiedmightbefeelingverygoodaboutherselfandincontrolofherworklifebutthepleasuresidecouldbedamagedforatime.
