　　GuorepresentedChinaatthe2004SummerOlympics,earningagoldmedalinthe3metrewomen'ssynchronizedspringboardalongwithWuMinxiabeforefinallywinningherfirstindividualOlympicgoldinthe3metrewomen'sspringboard.SheistheleadingmemberoftheChinesenationalwomen'sdivingteamafterFuMingxia.Currentlyhergoalistowinmedalsatthe2008OlympicGamesinBeijing.ShealsoannouncedonNovember23,2006thatshewouldretirefollowingthe2008OlympicGames.
