Abstract

　　ThepaperdiscussessomesignificantdifferencesbetweenChineseandEnglish,suchasdifferencesindiction,syntax,anddiscourseorganization.Becauseofthesedifferences,thetransferofnativelanguage(L1)intothetargetlanguage(L2)tendstoappearinthenegativeform,i.e.interference.TheinterferenceofChineseinEnglishwritingisthemajorcauseoftheso-calledChinglish.Thepaperstatessometypesofinterferenceserrorsinlexical,grammatical,andstructuralaspects.Lexicalerrorsincludethemechanicalusesofwordsandmisusesofarticles,prepositions,andmarks.Thegrammaticalerrorsinvolvemisusesofnumberofwords,tenseandvoiceofsentences,syntacticalfunctionofwords,verbalphrases,andthemechanicalusesandmisusesofstructure.Inthediscourseorganizationpart,thepaperdiscussesthemechanicaltransferofChinesethinkingmodeandsomeerrorsinwordorder.Intheend,thepapergivessomepossibleapproachestoremovetheinterferencesofnativelanguageinEnglishwriting.
