　　您的主要工作将是进行动物脑缺血模型MCAO(中脑动脉闭塞),然后给动物一个新的（novel）突变体(mutant)生红血球素(Erythropoitein).这个生红血球素是在我们实验室产生的.然后确定这种新型促红细胞生成素能否诱导血管生成（angiogenesis）和神经生成(neurogenesis),提高神经功能恢复.这是一个非常有趣的项目,可能有临床应用潜力.另外神经发生(生成)在神经科学领域是一个非常有前景的领域.其实我们的初步研究表明,这种新型突变体促红细胞生成素有神经生成和血管生成的作用,但无血刺激（blood-stimulating）副作用,所以它是一个完美的神经保护/neurorecovery药物.
