　　170students’task:togetafully-designedblogupandrunning,completewithmanypostingsbasedonathemeofchoice—allwritteninChinese.170名学生的任务是：制作完全设计好的博客,并将其完全运行起来.在这个过程中,很多工作都是取决于主题的选择,当然所有的工作也将用中文记录下来.

　　Themesrangedfromlocalopinions－suchastheusageofSinglish,educationandwhetherSingaporecanbeaculturalcentre－tofoodblogs.主题的选择可以覆盖整个新加坡当地的话题,例如新加坡英语的日常运用,教育方面和新加坡是否能够成为文化中心,或者是关于当地食物的博客都可以.

　　TheentrieswerejudgedonLanguageproficiency（熟练程度）andthequalityofwriting,aswellasthedesignandlevelofexchangingideaswithreaders.考察参赛者的标准时语言的熟练程度和写作水平,同时也考察参赛者和浏览博客者的思维交流的水平和设计水准.

　　AcademicsfromtheNationalUniversityofSingaporeandtheSIMUniversity,Ifexperts,andajournalistfromChinesenewspaperLianheZaobaoinSingaporemadeupthejudges.评委是来自新加坡国立大学和工业管理学院的学者们,还有一位来自新加坡中文报纸《联合早报》的新闻记者组成的.

　　Intheend,onlythreeSingaporeanstudentsmadeittotheawardlist—therestoftheawardsweresweptupbystudentsfromChina.最后,仅有三位新加坡籍学生进入了获奖名单,来自中国的学生包揽了其他的所有奖项.

　　这次比赛的举办者——37岁的东南亚初级学院教务主任周耀龙说道,“尽管主题选自新加坡本地,外来的学生更能够控制目标,并且抓住中文的精髓.OneofthethreelocalstudentswinningthefirstprizeintheBestLanguageAwardwasbloggerChristinaGao19,fromtheSaintAndrew’sJuniorCollage,whosparednoeffortinresearchingforandwritingherblog.Eachentrytookherbetweenfiveandsevendaystoproduce,completewithpicturesandevenpodcasts（播客）三位本地获奖学生中的一位赢取了最佳与演讲的第一名,她是博客制作者克里斯蒂娜.高,今年19岁,来自圣安德鲁初级学院.她尽了最大的努力让自己的博客赢得奖项.整个过程中每一个步骤都花掉了她5-7天的时间,包括制作所有的图片甚至还有播客.
