　　Twofrogslivedtogetherinamarsh().Butonehotsummerthemarshdried-up(),andtheyleftittolookforantherplacetolivein,forfrogslikedampplacesiftheycangetthem.Byandby()theycometoadeepwell,andoneofthemlookeddownintoit,andsaidtotheother,"thislooksanicecoolplace.Letusjumpinandsettlehere."

　　Buttheother,whohaveawiserheadonitshoulders,replied,"Notsofast,myfriend.Supposingthiswelldrieduplikethemarsh,howshouldwegetoutagain?"

　　青蛙和井

　　有两只青蛙同住在一片沼泽地里．可是有一年夏天炎热,沼泽地干枯了,青蛙便离开这里,另找一处栖身,因为要是找到的话,它们还是喜欢潮湿的地方．过了不久,它们来到一口深井旁,一只青蛙朝井里俯视一番,然后对另一只青蛙说道”看上去这是一个清凉的好去处．我们跳下去就在这里安身吧．”可是另一只青蛙肩膀上长了个比较聪明的脑袋,它回答说,”朋友,不要这么快往下跳．假如这口井也像沼泽地一样干枯了,我们怎么再出的来呢?”
