"Miaow",whichreallymeant,"Cheerup!Youhavesomethingneitherofyourstepsistershaveandthatisbeauty."
Itwasquitetrue.Cinderella,evendressedinragswithadustygreyfacefromthecinders,wasalovelygirl.Whileherstepsisters,nomatterhowsplendidandeleganttheirclothes,werestillclumsy,lumpyanduglyandalwayswouldbe.
Oneday,beautifulnewdressesarrivedatthehouse.AballwastobeheldatCourtandthestepsistersweregettingreadytogotoit.Cinderella,didn'tevendareask,"Whataboutme?"forsheknewverywellwhattheanswertothatwouldbe:
