BobMaystoleaglanceacrosshisshabbytwo-roomapartment.Onacouchlayhisyoungwife,Evelyn,rackedwithcancer.Fortwoyearsshehadbeenbedridden.Fortwoyears,allofBob'ssmallincomeandsmallersavingshadgonetopayfortreatmentsandmedication.
