　　Firstly,allmenareborntobeequal.Regardlessofone'sappearance,socialstatus,healthconditionsandfinancialconditions,hehastherighttoberespectedasamemberofthesociety.Whereas,acriminalmaybelookdownuponbecauseequalityispartlyconditional.Sincethecriminalhasdonesomethingharmfultothesociety,hisrightsaredeprivedbythelaw.Buthisbasichumanrightsleftwillstillberespected.

　　Secondly,respects,inotherword,esteemsarecrucialtoanindividual.AccordingtoMaslow'sHierarchyofNeeds,menhavefivelevelsofneeds:physiological,safety,belonging/love,esteemandself-actualization.Sincewearelivingin21st.century,apeacefultime,thethemeofourlifeispeaceanddeveloping.Sowhenwehavesolvedtheproblemsofsurvivingandsafety,weareeagertoachievetheotherthreeneeds.Amongthethree,asfarasIamconcerned,esteemisthebaseofbelongingandself-actualization.Wecannotlivefreelyandcomfortablewithoutothersrespectsandesteem.Esteemsarethebeginningofloveandtheultimateresultofself-actualization.
