Sheaskedme,“Whatifwemakethis"asmilecarwash",mommy?”Icouldn'tholdbackmytearsandencouragedherandotherkidstogoinsidethehouseandgetcreativeandcomeupwithideas.WhileIkeptmyselfbusyindryingthecar,thefidswalkeduptomewithaboardofbeautifulsignsofsmiles.Theyhad“FreeCarWash”writtenonitandthethemeoftheirexericswas“Smile”.Itwasprettynaturaltoseeateamofkids5to11yearswiththetasktodosomethingfortohers.
Allthatseemednaturalandcamerightfromtheirheart.Nothingseemedtothem:theirpalytime,andtheheatoutside--theyjustwantedtohelpanddosomethingniceinthecommunity!
Ihelpedthemmakesomefreshjuiceandbroughtoutsomewastematerialstohelpcleancars.Passers-bywereamazedandoneevenshoutedatthemsaying“Goodkids”.Oneifthemeventriedgivingthem$5,whichtheyrefused.Aprettyheart-warmingscene!
