关于could not 和 did not的用法，求解答。

　　有人说前者表主观不能，后者表客观不能，但我发现并非如此。举新概念一册课文为例。

　　I did not enjoy it.

　　但我却无法欣赏。(戏很好，但由于别人打扰不能很好欣赏。客观不能。)

　　I could not hear the actors.

　　我听不见演员在说什么。(同一语境，也是客观不能，为什么不用did not?)

　　'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.

　　我生气地说:“我一个字也听不见了!”(同一语境，也是客观不能，为何不用don’t?)

　　请问，did not 和 could not 到底如何区分，在上述课文里，他们可以互换吗?
