Grades10studentsintheUKhavetotakethenationwideGeneralCertificateofSecondaryEducation(GCSE)exams.Theyhavetopasstheseexamsinordertostudymoreadvancedcoursesandlaterapplyforuniversities.
TheOxfordUniversityprojectmeansthatGCSEstudentsfrommorethan100schoolsacrossEnglandwillstartschoolat10ammorethanonehourlaterthanthecurrentstarttime(8:50am).
